Disabled access & rooms

We are pleased to say that we have a bespoke invisible ‘sesame lift’ giving full access to Calpe House GA from the pavement outside, the steps that lead up to the front door slide away and a lift rises in their place this means we are fully accessible to anyone in a wheelchair. Calpe House GA has 3 fully disabled rooms and 7 partially disabled rooms that are accessible by lift. We have specialist equipment that can be added to any ensuite to make it more accessible and easier to use, particularly after treatment or operations.

Please note that Calpe House GA is a Grade II listed building and therefore it is not purpose built, however we feel it is this that really it makes it feel like a home. If you are coming to stay with us please ensure the GHA are aware of any special requirements as some rooms can only be accessed via stairs.
