Smoking is not allowed outside on the steps of the main entrance and exits of the building. Please smoke across the street or in the park.

Calpe House GA staff are not medically trained. Please call 999 for life threatening issues or 111 for non-urgent medical matters. Check your hospital letters for any emergency contact number and inform them of the urgency.
You are responsible for booking your own taxis around London. We would suggest you make any taxi bookings for appointments as soon as you arrive at Calpe House GA in order to avoid disappointment. Calpe House GA staff will only book taxis to the airport.
Please keep your room clean. Cleaning tools/products are in the lower cupboard opposite the laundry room in building 23. Please return the utensils to the cupboard as soon as possible. Do not leave them in your room, as other residents are waiting to use them.
Calpe House GA will not be responsible for any personal items in your room during your stay and after you check out. We will dispose of any items left in your room. We cannot keep personal belongings in readiness for a future visit.
Please clean and tidy up the kitchen, communal areas and children’s room after you use them.
Health and safety regulations do not allow you to open windows and stand on any balconies in the building.
You are responsible for taking your clothes out of the washers and dryers. Please put the key ring on the hooks provided on the machines to identify your belongings. Do not leave your items unattended for long periods of time. Please empty the water filters and clean the linen filters in the machines after each use.
Please do not remove communal items from their respective rooms (i.e. ironing board and iron should be used in the laundry room only; soft furnishings like cushions and throws should remain in the main lounge). Please do not take communal items to your room.
Please put your waste in the grey wheelie bins on the ground floor of building 19. The black bags are for general waste and the blue bags for recycling. Empty all liquids from bottles before putting them in the bags. Please do not remove the blue and black bags from the wheelie bins.
Please respect your neighbours and do not be disruptive as patients are trying to rest.
Congregation outside the steps of the main entrance is not allowed after 8pm. The noise disrupts patients trying to recover in rooms located in the basement and lower floors.
Unauthorised visitors are not allowed to sleep overnight in your room or in any other communal area of Calpe House GA.
Abuse to Calpe House GA staff will not be tolerated. We are here to help you, but we are not able to do our job if you are aggressive and rude.
