Miss Gibraltar 2016 made Calpe House GA their sole objective for their fundraising and raised a total of £15,000. They even released a charity single with Stage One, the original song, penned by Tim Garcia, with music by Afterhours features all nine Miss Gibraltar contestants. The Trustees thanked the contestants, as well as the organisers and everyone else involved throughout the campaign. It was a wonderful achievement, which brought the community together and highlighted the importance of the Calpe House GA Appeal.
Miss Gibraltar 2016 winner, Kayley Mifsud, went on to throw herself out of a plane in Sevilla at 15,000 feet in August 2016 and in May 2017 she climbed the Med Steps 10 times in one day, raising £4000.
