Joelle Moreno is the current Gibraltar Netball captain. She wanted to take on a challenge for March and thought running 100k in March sounded tough she is by no means a long distance runner.
There were plenty of charities in UK who advertised for people to take on this challenge but She wanted to make sure that the money went to a charity which has helped and is still helping many Gibraltarians, including family, friends and locals whilst going through any treatment in UK.
She values the work that the charity does and wants to do her very best, to mainly raise awareness about what Calpe House is all about and in the process raise some funds. This is to ensure that the charity continues to provide the much needed support to those that need it the most at a vulnerable time in their lives.
Your support is greatly appreciated by many and this is her small task as she puts it but we at Calpe house believe it’s massive !!
Thank you on her behalf for all the support we hope that you give her.
In the process of this challenge we hope that it will help us get fitter and stronger for our Europe Netball competition in May!
Good thing is, the good news doesn’t stop there! After this 100k March challenge the whole team have agreed that as the National Gibraltar squad
they wanted to give something back to a charity this year and they have all decided that Calpe House will be the one! They will make a donation to Calpe House as our chosen charity for the year.

We look forward to raising as much awareness and money for Calpe House.
