Our administrative staff are supported by maintenance staff, cleaners and additional night/weekend staff to ensure the building is secure and manned 24/7. All our administrative staff are CPR trained.

Michael is responsible for the day to day running of Calpe House, to ensure practises are compliant at an operational level, he is responsible for the upkeep of the building and the staff. Michael reports directly to the CEO/Chairman, Albert Poggio. Part of Michaels responsibility is also to interact with patients. Michael joined the Calpe House team in September 2022 and aims to ensure the building complies with all relevant regulations, the staff are happy and most importantly Calpe House remains Gibraltar's 'Home from Home' providing patients with a place to stay and friendly smile during their time in need.

Jaime was the Housekeeper at Princes Square for 8 years and played a vital role in moving operations to Norfolk Square. Jaime among other things deals with room allocations and has a fantastic repour with patients and escorts.

Jo joined Calpe House in August 2019 and was ‘front of house’ in our reception area, she now works alongside Michael and Jaime in the main office, providing administrative assistance and liaising with patients. Jo always has a smile on her face and is ready to welcome old and new patients as if she has known them for years.

Rachael joined the Calpe House team in July 2022, she mans the reception; greeting patients, paying allowances and assisting with travel arrangements, she also liaises with London hospitals on patients appointments. Rachel is always happy to help and ready to greet patients upon their arrival.

Juan Carlos joined the team in November 2019 as a Night Officer. Juan Carlos ensures the security of the building and is there to help patients and their escorts outside of normal working hours. Fluent in Spanish and English, if patients arrive late at night or over the weekend, his welcoming smile might be the first they see on arrival at Calpe House GA.
